Our ECG recognition course covers both basic, and advanced, ECG interpretation.
Sessions include:
Basic cardiac anatomy & physiology
The normal ECG including nomenclature and timings
Axis interpretation & bundle branch blocks
Acute coronary syndromes
Tachy- and bradyarrhythmia's
Life-threatening pathology
Interactive ECG interpretation sessions
The course starts with core cardiac anatomy and physiology and it's relation to how the ECG is generated, providing core principles for the understanding of interpretation. This provides a robust grounding in ECG recognition, and as the course progresses, common pathologies and increasingly complex ECG principles are covered to build on knowledge.
Throughout the course ECG findings will be linked to relevant clinical conditions and syndromes ensuring clinical relevance throughout. The course ensures participants leave with a solid grounding in ECG interpretation and the confidence to read them accurately and precisely.
